ICCOA is the organization that has been instrumental in facilitating trade and marketing of organic agriculture produce from India by organizing India’s biggest & exclusive annual event on organic agribusiness famously known as the India Organic Trade Fairs. Started in 2005, India Organic Trade Fair (IOTF) has grown remarkably in magnitude. IOTF provides a window to the broad spectrum of agribusiness growth of India in the global arena. Today, IOTF stands for growth, power, professional competence and internationality in the field of Organic growth in India. It has therefore become a reflection of the dynamic development of the market, leveraging India’s intra-country as well as global trading strength.

Joint Fair with BioFach of Nuremberg, 2009 and 2010
In 2009, ICCOA signed a MoU with Nurnberg Messe, Germany to combine India Organic trade fair with the BioFach fair. Thus the first BioFach India together with India Organic trade fair was organized in Mumbai in Nov. 2009 and Dec 2010. This annual event provides a common platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers, technocrats, entrepreneurs and service providers to interact, gain knowledge and trade. And this has put India strongly on the map of World Organic trade developments by attracting the best in business and on the same time ensuring participation of small farmer groups through the continuation of the India Organic concept within the same fair.
