| Background |
ICCOA and IOSC joined IFOAM efforts in implementing IGO project in 2005. During the later part of the year it implemented three activities, largely relating to advocacy of organic agriculture among Indian stakeholders and enhancing their knowledge about organic agriculture principles, IFOAM positions on various issues and about issues like GMOs, climate change and organic agriculture opportunities and challenges. The report of IGO-2005 has been already submitted to project coordinator in the IFOAM-HQ. |

| The broad framework of 2006 work plan was discussed with coordinator of I-GO project and IOSC in charge at IFOAM. The details on each activities and activity wise budgeting is presented here in the proposal. |

PR and Advocacy
- IFOAM-IOSC will undertake PR and advocacy activities during 2006. The type of activities falling under the scope are;
- Participate in events and displays around the country
- Represent IFOAM in meetings- requested/ invited
- Can jointly organize meetings/ events
- Widely disseminate information material about organic agriculture and IFOAM
- IOSC needs to send a note on the PR and Advocacy activities 2006 by January.
- For wider dissemination of IFOAM material, as done in 2005 under I-GO activity –3, IOSC will need to send a concept note along with the list of agencies who will receive the material. Describe the kind of information material that will be included in the project.
- Follow the new corporate identity standards in publication matters, letter head etc.
