ICCOA plans to create a platform where all stakeholders of organic agriculture may participate and work together. We thus welcome individual farmers, farmers’ organizations, government organizations, NGOs, corporates, traders, processors, certification agencies, research institutions, and of course consumers and consumer forums to become our members. ICCOA will complement the efforts of the existing organizations in the field of organic agriculture.
ICCOA has 3 types of membership and the details are given below
Membership : Patron
Admission fee : Nil
Subscription : Rs. 1,00,000/-
Benefits :
- Invited to Board of Directors meet for participation but without voting right.
- Special concession in assignments and projects.
- Ownership of the charitable society ICCOA (members have no share in any potential losses or gains of the Society).
- Right to submit proposals to the General Body.
- Vote in the annual General Body meeting (decisions on policies, election of BOD etc.). BOD members are elected from Members and Patrons.
- Receiving the periodical newsletter and other information mailings.
- Invitations to training courses, workshops, fairs etc. organized by ICCOA.
- Preference in activities organized by ICCOA . E.g. excursions, field trips etc .
Membership : Member
Admission fee : 5,000
Subscription : Rs. 1,000/- Annual
Benefits :
- Ownership of the charitable society ICCOA (members have no liability in any potential losses or gains of the Society).
- Right to submit proposals to the General Body
- Vote in the annual General Body meeting (decisions on policies, election of BOD etc.). BOD members are elected from Members and Patrons.
- Receiving the periodical newsletter and other information mailings.
- Invitations to training courses, workshops, fairs etc. organised by ICCOA.
- Reduction of training fee by 25%.
- Preference in activities organized by ICCOA. E.g. excursions, field trips etc
Membership : Associate
Admission fee : 500
Subscription : Rs. 100/- Annual
Benefits :
- Receiving the periodical newsletter and other information mailings.
- Invitations to training courses, workshops, fairs etc. organized by ICCOA.
- Can attend the General Body but have no voting right.
