The media campaigns, the various trade fairs, conferences, and workshops in India will provide repeated opportunities to present Switzerland’s efforts in market development and export promotion of organic products. On the international level, representation is possible through the foreseen participation of FiBL, ICCOA and the pilot projects in fairs and conferences. The numerous publications emerging from this project will refer to the support through the Swiss Government.

ICCOA has the potential to become the core interface agency for organic agriculture in India. The Indian government, private business, and NGOs concerned with organic agriculture are very positive about the set-up of ICCOA; thus, the contribution of SECO will be highly appreciated and visible. Sri Sompal, Chairman of the National Commission of Farmers (Union minister level), who visited Switzerland in 2003 on invitation of SECO, has declared Switzerland as India's 'natural ally' in the field of organic agriculture. The good relationships between FiBL, ICCOA, and Indian Government agencies will lead to an enhanced and strengthened dialogue between the Indian and the Swiss Governments, as already initiated through the INDOCERT project.
