Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals should be residents of India
- Companies should be registered in India and be in operation for a minimum of 3 years
- Additional criteria
- Farmers
- Individual farmers who have been practicing organic or natural farming for the last 3 years
- Farmer should have animal husbandry component and composting unit
- Farmers practicing organic farming should be certified as per NPOP or PGS and should produce Scope Certificate
- Certification Agencies
- Should be accredited as per NPOP, of India.
- Should be operating in more than one
- Applicants with accreditations for other standards than NSOP will be given
- Applicants should not have been suspended / de-accredited by APED
- Regional Council
- Accredited by NCOF, of India
- Applicants should not have been suspended/ de-accredited by NCOF
- Companies with direct farmer projects
- Must have sourcing directly from farmer groups or ICS.
- Companies marketing millets
- Must have a major focus on marketing millets and millet products
- Exports
- Should have a major focus on exports of organic products
- FPCs / FPOs
- Registered as Farmer Producer Company (under Companies Act 2013)/ New Generation Cooperatives registered between 2010 and 2018
- Must have completed a minimum of three financial Years
