Expression of Interest (EOI)
Inviting EOI for a Research Project on “Evidence based agro-ecological model of production to marketing with Farmer Organizations on Production and Economics of AE Farming”
International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA), is a not-for-profit society registered under Karnataka Societies Act since May 2004. ICCOA envisions being a ‘knowledge and learning centre’ for all facets of organic agriculture, while working as an interface organization for the organic movement in India.
ICCOA, is inviting EOI for engaging services for a part of a project on “Evidence based agro-ecological model of production to marketing with Farmer Organizations on Production and Economics of AE Farming”.
The research component of this project will be carried out initially for five months (further extendable by 2-3 years). There will be 80 research plots in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. In Karnataka 50 research trails / farmer plots and in Madhya Pradesh 30 research trails / farmer plots will be identified to carry out the trails.
Research trials to capture data on agro-ecological practices, cost of production and income from the field plots practicingAgro Ecological practices.

- 1. Designing the research program and over allmonitoring of its implementation.
- 2. Guiding the SRFs inday today research activities and compilation of the data.
- 3. Creation and submission of reports

Research Associate / Senior Research Fellow - No. of Position : 6

Qualification :
M.Sc (Agronomy or Soil Science, Extension, Agri. Economics), Ph.D is desirable - Experience : Min. 2 Years
- Roles :
- 1. To conduct field trails in association with farmers.
- 2. Data compilation.
- 3. Documenting the research findings.
- 4.Submitting the research reports on monthly basis.
